Wedding Preparations (Nikah Outfit) | Part 1

5rz and I went to Jakel on the first week of Ramadhan. We did not plan the visit at the first place. We just happened to be ‘there’. While waiting for iftar, I got this idea of going to Jakel to kill some of our time. The mission was to search for our nikah outfit. I planned (there’s always my plan. Plan 5rz x leh pki) to have a grey silver outfit.

“B nk colour ape?
“X kisah la”

I hate it when he always says ‘x kisah’. Seems like I’m the one who get excited of getting married!

“Ok B kasi 3 top colours yg B nk utk nikah”
“First hmmmm…. Kuning cam cream2.” Waaa dlm pikiran Ayu hmmm kuning? Euwww so not my colour!
“Second nk colour putih” So typical.
“Last hmmmm…. Ha boleh la nk color grey syg tu” Haiyooo. My grey silver colour was at the bottom of his chart.

“Kuning cream x sesuai la ngan muka syg. Tolong la. Putih plak syg x mau. Bj nikah ni syg igt nk wat bj raya skali. So klu raya pki putih, nmpk sgt kte ni pengantin br.”
“Mmg kte pengantin br pun”
“Mmg la tp x nk la” Smbl gelak.
“So kte ambik grey jela nk x?”
“Sbb tu B kate x kisah. Sbb tau syg cerewet. Klu B ckp cam ni semua syg x nk”

So the assistant help us to decide which material and colours that we want. Found this kain at the first place and fall in love with it. Tp 5rz mesti x suka ngan ape yg Ayu suka. Katenye dull sgt. So I ask the lady to give another kain for us. Then 5rz suka with another kain. The colour was a bit darker than the first one.

When trying on 5rzs’ body, I prefer the darker one but when trying on my body, I choose to go with the first kain. Tp kn, bila dh snap in picture, the darker one more outstanding than the dull one don’t you think?

“Bg akak la kn, klu adik pki yg pekat ni, adik nmpk garang. Tp klu adik pki yg 1 lg, adik nmpk lembut je. So adik nk nmpk lembut ke nk nmpk garang time nikah nnti? Tp adik kena igt jgk, time nikah nnti sape yg nk tgk adik. Bakal suami adik jgk kn?”

Kakak Jakel ni pndi la nk wat Ayu rasa serba salahkn? The material was chiffon beaded. Price that they offering at first was RM 624 but last2 we can get it at RM 600 for 4 metre of lining, 4 metre of chiffon beaded and another 4 and the half metre for baju melayu. You can get it at RM 500 for all actually. Kena pndi pujuk la. Last2 x beli pun. Didn’t I say earlier that kami mmg x plan pun nk beli bj nikah lg.

Back at home, I ask my mom and my dear friend’s opinion. Both of them setuju ngan 5rz. Lg suka yg darker one. Korg nk mintak pendapat korg plak. I prefer A actually even though B is more outstanding. B x lawa bg Ayu sbb ada beaded warna hijau + silver tu. Hijau pun Ayu x suka. Which one is better? A or B?

MATTA Fair 2010

You guys. Do help me who never been to MATTA Fair before. Need your suggestion.

1. Which one cheaper. Air Asia promotion or Matta Fair? (I know matta fair include one whole package but my friend ada ckp, better ambik AA promo and the rest google sendiri and book sendiri. Much cheaper that way)
2. Can we trust the Matta Fair punya agent? Some said that diorg kena tipu.
3. Travel period dia plak mcm mane? Klu beli thn ni, boleh ke travel for next year? Ke kena travel within the year that we bought the tickets?

Eh igtkn byk benor nk tanya. Ckit je pun. Huhu. Tlg eh korg. For those yg nk g Matta Fair tu, jom la g ramai2 kt PWTC start hr ni smpi ahad ni. For more info,

The Famous Ikea Meatball

Alhamdulillah, at last I manage to make this entry jgk. The story begins when my dear friend, Niza was continue enjoying her holiday after Merdeka which was yesterday. She asked me to accompany her for haunting her baju Raya at Mutiara Damansara. Lain yg di cari, lain yg dibeli. Hasih tu la pompuan!

First we went to Ikano. Cr2 baju then suka sgt ngan baju ni. Ok suka je tp x beli. Then we both decided to search for the famous meatball kt Ikea.

"Ayu, agak2 dr Ikano ni boleh tembus Ikea x?"

"X tau"

"Rasa cam nk g OU la nk cr something"

"Ok kte ni nk bukak pose kt luar ke ape ni?Klu buka luar boleh gak rasa meatball Ikea tu!" Jam menunjukan hampir kul 1700. Nk blk ngan jam lg kn?

"Ha ok la. Kte g OU dulu then nnti kte patah blk ke Ikea"

Half way to OU jam teruk. U turn blk ke Ikano but this time around parking kt Ikea plak hoping to get back to OU after iftar to avoid the jam.

Take note that we both never experience this famous meatball, so we really don't know where was the food courts.

"Babe tanya la org Ikea ni kt mane ada jual meatball tu"

"Eh Ayu ni. X payah tanya kt mane jual meatball, tanya food court kt mane je. Karg jakun plak dia kate kte ni!"

Wa mmg jakun pun! This is not the first time I went there but this would be my first time to ate at their food court.

Ok location founded and we take a very nice spot close to the tempat beli meatball tu. Takut ramai nnti. Tgk. Teserlah ke-jakun-nan kami!

"Cukup ke kte mkn meatball je utk b'buka ni?"

"Entah la Ayu"

"Beli karipap skali nk?"

"Ha ok. Eh tp kt mane eh?"

"Entah tp yg Ayu tau karipap bkn skali ngan meatball. Try tanya org kt sana"

Yes I know my previous2 entry I did mention that I'm having the karipap Ikea tu but I never was 'the person' who bought it. I always the person who ate it. That's why Ayu x tau karipap Ikea tu di mana. Bila Niza dh tau kt mane, she was the one who went down to bought the karipap. We also tapau for our family. Ok so now, I'm officially 'the person' who bought it. Yeay!

While waiting for Niza to come back, I saw this trolley yg oh sgt convenience. Bagus betul la diaorg wat troley cam ni. Easy for the customer to carry out their things. KFC, McDonald semua x nk ke wat trolley mcm ni? Kn senang. Kn kn kn?

Ok now let's see what we have ordered.

The famous meatball, karipap Ikea, daim cake and soft drink. Soft drink boleh refill so kami kongsi je utk jimat :)

This meatball serve with strawberry jam and also the gravy. That strawberry jam manis sgt la so cam x brape sedap utk Ayu. Tp gravy dia superb. Oh mmg saje mintak gravy asing ngan meatball.

Ok ni dh. Alhamdulillah. Kenyang sgt2 smpi x larat nk abis kn daim cake tu. Kena mam slow2.

After iftar, we take a little time went into Ikea in purposely to survey the bedroom set for me. Kebayakan katil queen size la. Ada satu je katil king size but then design x lawa plak. Harga boleh tahan.

Look at those fats! No wonder 5rz ckp badan Ayu makin naik bln puasa ni. Anyway, this is the queen saiz bed. Which one better? This one?

Or this one? This is king size bed. I prefer this one sbb rendah and chumel je cuma design x lawa :(

Last2 kami x sempat ke OU sbb dh mlm. Niza plak punyala semangat nk tgk fav drama dia kt tv3 tu 'Syurgamu Ramadhan'. Last but not least, pics before pulang.

Phew... It's worth a journey babe. We did learn a lot right even tho we like so jakun!
