Smalam dh dpt pg tgk dewan yg tergendala nk tgk dr hr tu lg [Here] Main purpose nk tgk kali ni sbb nk tgk tmpt menunggu VIP. Ni sbb nk tgk sama ada proper x nk wat nikah kt blk VIP tu. Alhamdulillah space ok la since majlis nikah ni x brape ramai pun yg akn dtg. Tp still ada problem gak ngan tmpt ni. Ruang VIP tu ber tile. X de carpet. So mcm x proper nk suruh tetamu duk atas tile yg sejuk. Nk x nk kena letak around 3 carpet dlm blk tu. And blk ni juga disediakn sofa and meja. So, planning asalnya nk alihkan sofa ke dinding so that the elders like wan Ayu or sape2 yg x larat nk duk bwh, boleh duk ats sofa. 

Skrg ni yg masalahnya skrg ialah, nikah kt dewan ngan nikah kt umah lebih kurang sama je. Take note that Ayu lg prefer nikah kt dewan sbb dr dulu lg Ayu mmg malas nk kecah2 umah. (Actually lg prefer nikah kt masjid sbb lg senang. But since family 5rz x nk nikah kt masjid so terpaksa la cr option lain) 

Nikah Umah

• Nk kena kluakan certain perabot kt dlm living hall to make a space for nikah ceremony.
• Cost akn bertambah as my parents kate klu nk nikah kt umah kena nikah one day earlier. So nk bg mkn mlm lg kn.
• After majlis nikah, kesian sedara mara nk kemas2 blk segala mcm perabot, cuci pinggan bagai (Catering utk nikah mayb msk sendiri since guest utk nikah adalah ahli keluarga saja)
• Dh selesai nikah, still nk pk majlis keesokkan hr nya plak. 

Nikah Dewan 

• Sama leceh jgk sbb nk kena bwk carpet dr umah ke dewan. So all the perabot still kena angkat utk lipatkn carpet tu
• Senang sbb lps selesai nikah, terus tukar bj kt blk persalinan kt dewan n ready for the next event.
• After semua selesai, still kena lipat blk carpet utk dibawa pulang ke umah.
• Food wise, mayb msk breakfast saje since nikah wat pg. Breakfast ngan dinner, breakfast lg jimat. ~Ngee~~

So at the end, ayah kate sama je nikah dewan or umah. Tp Ayu dh pk2 blk, nikah umah lg byk guna cost, lg byk penat compared to nikah kt dewan. Tp tgk mak smalam, mak mcm lg prefer nikah kt umah waktu mlm. Ayu plak dh poning dok mikir psl bondo alah nih! Bila discuss ngan 5rz, 5rz ckp ikt jela mana parents Ayu rasa lg senang. So smalam dh voice out my opinion. And Ayu jgk dh remind mak utk pilih tmpt nikah cepat sbb dewan ngan umah Ayu lain2 state. Ayu nk pastikan yg Ayu ni nikah kt KL ke Selangor. Sbb nk kena g ambik borang nikah bagai next month. 

Psl depo dewan plak, ayah kate nnti dh dekat2 tarikh br byr depo. Hmm x pelah since uncle yg in charge psl dewan tu kate mcm tu. Malas dh nk pk. Sgt complicated hal kawin Ayu ngan dewan ni! Bkn kah perkahwinan dlm Islam sepatutnya sesuatu benda yg mudah? Ke sbb Ayu yg pk complicated sgt? Hurmmm.... 

So, in summary I would say, sanding venue dh booked even tho depo byr last2 nnti. Date sanding settle. Yg x settle tmpt nikah (either umah or dewan), date nikah and state mane Ayu nikah nnti sbb document pntg tu nk kena prepare dh skrg ni.

As promise, I will reveal about my previous wedding hall. (Ni kira kes dewan x jd nk ambik la ni) Take note ya that I'm looking for hall which can outsource. Itu yg paling penting. Another one nk yg dekat area umah family Ayu and family 5rz, Setiawangsa and Jelatek. 

Dewan A 

The first hall yg Ayu nk ambik mula2 dulu. Recommended by Niza. Parking space besar x besar ok la and ruang dewan pun sgt besar. Mula2 jmpa dgn person in-charge, dia kate sewa RM 2k for all (Banquet chairs, tables, hall, and PA system) Ayu dh hntr pun surat nk mintak approval utk guna dewan tu. [Here] Tp that person in-charge tu x kasi notification pun ckp yg dia dh receive email Ayu. At least bg tau la kn? Smpi kte plak nk kena check ngan dia. Pastu boleh dia kate yg dia ada nmpk email tu. Nmpk je bang? Reply la ckp that you received my mail! Then tetiba dia ckp sewa RM 2k tu actually dewan saje. Chairs, tables and others x include. I asked them how much they charge for 1 chairs? RM4. Tu x msk sarung ngan riben lg tu. Then ok la mayb Ayu nk opt catering for tables and chairs tp tup2 dia kate x leh. Kena sewa ngan dia. Ape kes kn? Kira2 blk masya-Allah mahalnya nk bayar! Even though, we manage to secure our date for this hall walaupun kami still cr dewan lain. Kira ni dewan utk emergency in case x dpt mana2 dewan.

Boleh guess x kt mane dewan ni? Dh terang2 ada nama dewan tu kt situ

Inside

Atas stage. Kebetulan ada student nk wat dinner mlm tu. Ha 1 lg hint. 'Student' 

Ni bhgn tepi dewan. Besar sgt Ayu rasa

Main entrace

Dewan A adalah Dewan Besar, UTM. Kt jln Semarak tu. Org luar boleh sewa dewan ni. X semestinya staff UTM or ex student UTM je yg boleh sewa. But for event like wedding ni kte x leh nk dpt confirmation awal2. 3 months before wedding kte, br diaorg boleh confirm kn and start to pay the deposit. Mcm Ayu dulu, bln 8 mcm tu dh booked tarikh. Diaorg just booked jela. Tp klu kalendar UTM tu tetiba ckp on the day yg Ayu booked tu ada exam ke ada org besar nk dtg ke, they have to give the priority to others dulu walaupun kte dh booked awal. 

Dewan B

More secured I would say sbb once kte dh confirm tarikh, boleh start bayar depo. Secure ckit klu dh byr depo ni. Unfortunately, wedding date kami kt dewan ni dh full tp klu nk pun kena awalkn 1 hr. Which was also fine. Big problem. This hall cannot outsource unless you are staff. Yg Ayu suka psl dewan ni sbb pentas dia x tggi and sgt kecik. Huhu. Mostly org nk pentas besar tp Ayu x nk yg besar. Klu pentas kecik, means kte x payah nk ambik pelamin yg besar2 sgt. Pelamin besar kn dh byk mkn cost kn? Ok so ayah dpt jmpa 1 staff ni (kwn ayah gak) Nk mintak guna nama dia so that we can outsource. Tp, pihak pengurusan kate kena wat surat and hntr ke timbalan pengarah. Ok so surat dh wat. Dh sent. Tp jawapannya kami tggu masya-Allah sgt lama smpi kami dh give up. Tu yg Ayu marah2 dlm post terdahulu. [Here] Yela, pengarah tu x de masa sgt ke nk baca surat kami? Klu x bg outsource ckp jela kn? X payah nk biar kami tertunggu-tggu! Klu sape2 yg ayah or ada kenalan yg keja kt sini or even pengarah tu sendiri, I'm so sorry ya? Tp x betul ke ape yg Ayu ckp? X boleh, ckp x boleh. Jgn wat org tertggu-tggu! Dewan B adalah Dewan Risda kt jln Ampang.

Dewan C

This hall pun mcm2 drama la. I knew about this hall from blogger pun ye, pun kak Ita pun ye. Ayu pnah email ngan blogger ni tanya psl dewan ni. Dh seronok cite psl dewan ni tetiba dewan ni nk renovate plak. Tp from what I read dr blog blogger ni, time dia nk kawin lg masalah dh timbul. I mean supposedly blogger ni let say nk kawin bln 10 tp terpaksa diawalkn 2 bln (bln August) sbb ayah dia kate dewan ni nk renovate ke ape ntah. That was on October 2010 ok! Smpi skrg x renovate2 lg! Hr tu kate nk start reno bln December 2010 tp dh msk bln Jan 2011 x start2 lg. Dgr cite diaorg nk start bln Feb 2011 plak and dijangka siap bln April 2011. Cam byk sgt risiko kn? With all the drama lg. Pnah gak ngamuk psl dewan ni. [Here] Nk x nk kena gak cr dewan lain. Blogger yg Ayu maksudkn, Huda. And dewannya ialah Dewan JKR. Dekat ngan area Bank Negara. Agak jauh ckit dr Setiawangsa and Jelatek but what to do?

So far this three halls je yg Ayu betul2 nk. The rest nk jgk but it just the matter of my and family requirement. Mayb dewan tu mahal sgt. Mayb x leh nk outsource. Lebih kurang mcm tula. Pape pun I'm so blessed and relieve sgt sbb part hall dh settle. X sabar nk tggu Khamis nk g tgk skali lg dewan tmpt Ayu kawin nnti, insya-Allah.

Wedding Preparations (Hall) Part 8

Alhamdulillah syukur setelah pelbagai dugaan dan rintangan yg diharungi psl hall thingy ni,at last settle gak perihal ni. Ayah found a new hall which I fall in love the first time once I looked it through my dad's phone. (Usually Ayu susah nk impress by looking dlm phone saje. FYI my dad's phone pun biasa2 saje) Even though, Ayu still nk g tgk gak dewan tu. Ternyata mmg ok and I loike it. Tp tula Ayu jarang dgr org tawen kt dewan tu sbb mmg dewan tu x famous compared to another hall which was near by. Pape pun alhamdulillah sbb dpt settle dh benda ni.

This hall mmg sewa dewan saje without chairs and tables. So since my parents insist nk catering pilihan diaorg, kami kena out source kerusi and meja dr tmpt lain. Hopefully boleh dpt yg murah. Within our budget la senang cite. Oh by the way ayah manage to get a very2 good price for the hall. Thank you ayah and also to this uncle who a friend of my dad (Eh jap. I'm not sure this uncle is related to us or not sbb he's been helping our family's wedding since my brothers punya wedding lg) 

So hall kira settle. Catering plak nk kena tggu jawapan. Klu tgk my check list kt bwh skali, I've done part reception date but haven't decided on solemnization's date just yet. Igt lg post Ayu psl venue nikah? [Here] Ayah dh tetapkn since family 5rz x nk wat majlis nikah kt masjid, so wat kt umah saje. Ayu actually x brape setuju nk nikah kt umah sbb reason yg sama. X nk kecah umah. Since ayah kate x pe wat kt umah, Ayu redha jela. But then Ahad lps after blk dr shopping, 5rz sggh umah. Then ayah mintak pendapat 5rz sama ada boleh x awalkn majlis nikah. Means 1 day before reception. (Plan asal nk nikah pg date yg sama ngan reception) Tetiba 5rz kate ok plak. Eii hr tu Ayu dh tanya dia x nk. Ni bila ayah tanya dia kate ok plak. Ok so kira settle nikah 1 day earlier from reception date. Ptg2 ckit hari Ahad lps, ayah bwk Ayu, 5rz, kak Fareeza and nenek ke dewan reception (Ni sbb ayah and mak dh g tgk dewan reception time Ayu g shopping ngan kak Fareeza, Farra and 5rz. And being me, of course la Ayu nk tgk dewan tu ngan mata Ayu sendiri) 

Walaupun dpt tgk dr luar but I am so in love with the hall. Not as I expected (I mean not carpeted) but still, saya suka dewan reception saya, insya-Allah. Tgk dr luar lighting pun yg Ayu suka. Space ok. Parking space pun huge. Dekat ngan umah kami. Love it to the max! Then right before nk blk tu I saw this one hall cam VIP punya tmpt tggu la. Tp x leh nk tgk dr luar sbb dia ttp ngan curtain. So tanya ayah ada ape dlm blk tu. Ayah kate tu tmpt cam VIP nk rehat or nk duduk2. Then I have this 1 idea. Ha! Why not nikah kt tmpt tu. Bila tanya ayah, ayah ckp boleh jgk. Cumanya, kami x dpt tgk lg dlm hall kecik tu. Then ada 1 lg tmpt tp kt tgkt atas. Then Ayu pun ckp.

"X pun nikah kt atas x leh yah?"

"X yah la. Wan x larat nk naik tangga"

Tmpt atas tu lg cantik. Eceh padahal tgk dr luar. Tetiba nk ckp kt tgkt atas lg cantik! Anyway, Khamis ni Ayu dgn ayah nk g tgk dewan tu blk and insya-Allah this time around kami berpeluang dpt msk dlm tmpt VIP tu and dekat tgkt atas. So will see sama ada space tu ok x utk wat acara nikah. Once ok br boleh decide nk nikah on the same day as reception day or make it 1 day earlier. 

Since this hall thing-y ni dh settle (Alhamdulillah) I will reveal all the dewan yg Ayu pnah sebut before2 this. Sbb before this Ayu x ckp nama hall pun. Just kasi tau dewan A, B and C. So insya-Allah later on Ayu reveal.

Smalam dpt bad news dr Kak Fareeza. Kak Fareeza call person in charge for Dewan C [Post] and then org tu kate renovation start bln Februari plak. Insya-Allah bln 4 siap. Huwaaa :( Mmg x de mood sgt2 dh ni. Rasa cam blur. Actually dh x tau nk cr dewan mana lg. Mostly dewan kt KL ni semua kena ambik catering diaorg. Parents Ayu plak nk outsource. 

Smalam jgk dh start2 tanya ngan b2b and ex b2b yg lain psl dewan. Ok la suggestion yg diaorg kasi tp pape pun nk kena bincang ngan parents blk. Pastu akn create masalah baru plak. Sbb nya mcm ni. Parents nk masakan kampung (this is the main reason nk outsource catering) Dh jmpa satu catering ni and harga pun ok tp x termasuk kerusi meja. And let say klu ambik dewan komuniti la kn (mostly kerusi meja dia charge lain) so extra *kaching* disitu. Ayu ada je jmpa 1 catering ni yg harga kerusi meja and mknan semua ok la within my budget tp masalahnya catering ni x leh nk wat masakan kmpg. Mgkn akn try tanya catering yg parents nk tu sama ada boleh x provide kerusi meja tp harga lebih kurang sama ngan catering pilihan Ayu tu. Tgk la mcm mane.

Eh korg paham ke ape yg Ayu merepek kt atas tu? Ayu pun x tau sama ada ayat Ayu tersusun and boleh difahami ke tidak. Fikiran sgt bercelaru! What a bad start for me in 2011. :(

As always, this matter never been settled for ages! So the man of the house decided to let go of Dewan B and trying our luck for Dewan C [Post] So, atas jasa baik Kak Fareeza (SIL), Kak Ita (best friend Kak Fareeza) and abg ipar Kak Ita, our date had been booked. But (there's always but heh?) the deposit can only be paid next year since my wedding not until next year. Never mind about that. Skrg pun dh December. Insya-Allah x lama lg dh msk bln January. 

My worried skrg ni because of this hall is going through renovation. (start renovate bln December. Br je lg) Takut by the time I'm getting married dh siap renovate ke hall tu nnti? Tp dh klu I manage to booked our wedding date tu kira selamat la kot kn? I mean, x kn la diorg senang2 ambik tempahan klu diaorg tau renovate x leh siap dlm masa ditetapkn? Am I right? (Ayat sedapkn hati) Kena doa byk2. 

Even though, kami dh start booking mana yg patut. Dulu Ayu pnah ckp yg Ayu susah nk booking segala mcm persiapan sbb masalah dewan yg x pnah settle2 dr dulu lg. Even Kak Fareeza pun dh ckp insya-Allah ok nye dewan tu boleh siap before Ayu nk tawen nnti. Amin.

So x pelah. Tggu jela bln January depan utk bayar deposit. Insya-Allah klu dh bayar deposit tu rasa cam secure byk kot? Please pray for me. I'm begging you.


Oh another thing, sbb dh tukar dewan maka wedding date kami pun bertukar. This one I'll be announce later (ye saya tau saya gedik. Nk rahsia2 plak!)

End of the month is just around the corner. Dewan still x settle2 smpi skrg. Smalam ayah dh tanya kwn ayah yg keja kt Dewan B [post here]. Kwn ayah ckp still x dpt jawapan dr Lembagan Timbalan Pengarah. Boleh x Ayu nk jerit kuat2 skrg ni? Ok demam Ayu x kebah lg so ya, I'm still dlm keadaan lemah. Nk jerit pun x de suara. Skrg ni Ayu rasa cam nk jmpa Timbalan Pengarah kt Dewan B tu lah! Ape masalah dia eh? Bz sgt ke smpi skrg x baca2 lg surat kami? Bg korg yg x tau cite secara ringkasnya mcm ni :

• Ayu nk sewa Dewan B ni tp kena ambik skali ngan katering dia.
• Klu nk outsource katering lain boleh with approval letter.
• Surat dh siap and dh hntr after Raya Puasa hari tu.
• Smpi skrg jawapan still pending! 

Ikt milestone, patut bln ni kena booked dewan. 

Wahai Timbalan Pengarah, klu x nk approve kami nk outsource katering luar, just say so but please don't keep us waiting will you? Ni x. Blk2 asyik x de jawapan je! Entah2 surat kami dia dh baca ke tidak ntah. Ayu pun dh naik muak pagi2 remind ayah suruh update psl Dewan B ni. Skrg ni yg Ayu hangin sgt kt Timbalan Pengarah tu! Ayah walaupun bz tp dia slalu tanya kwn dia yg keja kt Dewan B tu. Kwn ayah yg keja kt Dewan B tu pun slalu update psl dewan tu tp every time dia akn update benda yg sama. Still pending! Still pending! Still pending! So skrg ni sape yg x wat keja? Timbalan Pengarah la kn? Adoiiii rasa nk sepak laju2 je leher timbalan pengarah tu! (Mampos aku watnya ayah korg Timbalan Pengarah yg aku maksudkn. Klu ye pun Ayu mintak maaf dulu k? Psl nk sepak laju2 tu x benar. Tp Ayu nk complaint kt dia tu betul!)

X kn x de alternatif lain? Ada2. Mak nk try booked our date kt Dewan ni. Let just called it Dewan C.[Post also here] The thing is dewan tu nk renovate thn depan. Yg ni lg satu masalah. Dulu time Kak Ita nk booked, org Dewan C tu ckp thn depan nk renovate la bagai. Ok fine. Satu hr tu Ayu msk satu laman web (web catering) and tetiba Ayu tgk list schedule dlm bln yg Ayu nk kawin, katering tu akn ada wat function kt Dewan C tu. Oh apakah? So Ayu called Dewan C.

"Hello. Saya Ayu dr bla bla bla. Saya just tanya mcm mane procedure klu saya nk booking dewan utk wedding?"

"Bila tu cik?"

"Thn depan bln bla bla bla"

"Thn depan kena call thn depan cik"

"Oh. Mcm tu ke? Ok terima kasih."

Lps je letak phone Ayu terpk. (Maafla. Tindakan logik akal lmbt ckit nk berfungsi time tu) I should replied to her like this

"Oh klu mcm tu klu saya nk kawin 1 Jan 2011, saya kena booked bila? Pg2 subuh 1 Jan tu ke?"

Apakah bodoh kamu2 ini? Bkn korg k? (Ayu x nk ckp Ayu bodoh cuma Ayu x terpk nk ckp mcm tu time tu. Heh?) Did I called her back? No sbb time tu tgh bz with other things smpi la skrg x terpk lg nk marah blk org2 kt sana. Skrg ni ayah kate nk tggu jgk Dewan B tu tp x tau la smpi bila. Ayu igt tggu smpi end of this month or end of this year ke? Tp takut x sempat la. Ayu x leh nk booked ape2 selagi hall x booked lg! X kn nk g book butik tp x tau tarikh bila? Tarikh ada cuma x tau boleh ke x nk kawin tarikh tu sbb hall ni lahai masalahnye kau! Ok bkn salah hall tp salah Timbalan Pengarah tu!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Raya Haji hr tu blk kmpg. Semua sedara tanya amacam preparation. 

"Entah la. Satu ape x settle lg"

"Kau jgn Yu. Brape bln je lg"

Diam and malas nk bukak cite. Lg panas hati nnti! Tu x termasuk org tanya benda lain lg

"Nikah pki bj warna ape?"

"X tau lg tp nk pki warna pink belacan kot."

"Pink belacan? Ayu. Nikah ni kn sepatutnya majlis yg suci. So patut kau pki warna2 pastel. Putih ke bla bla bla"

So klu Ayu pki warna hitam ke warna merah ke majlis tu x suci ke? X mampu la nk bendung perasaan marah ni! Better Ayu diam dr terkeluar ayat kurang ajar Ayu ni karg. Ha, sape lg nk tanya psl wedding aku???

Continue lg psl hall thingy ni. Months ago 5rz dh called en…. To ask about Dewan A tp kn org tu cam main2 pun ada. Mula2 5rz call pg then dia kate dia sibuk and suruh 5rz call after solat Jumaat. Lps solat Jumaat, 5rz call. Dia suruh call Isnin plak. Haish! Ok la ok la. Dia sgt sibuk! This hall thingy ni wat my wed plan dh jauh lari dr landasannye. And because of that, Ayu cam x de semangat nk continue with other things! Tgk jela kt side bar blog ni. How many things that says DONE?

Ayu still boleh sabar lg walaupun kadang2 nangis gak pk psl benda ni. Klu x silap, bln Ramadhan dulu, Ayu dh 3 mlm asyik termimpi psl dewan tu la dewan ni la smpikn nk bgn sahur pun boleh lmbt. Then bila time sahur plak Ayu la yg paling byk tmbh nasi smpikan mak kate

“Hai byk mkn Yu. Stress ke? Pk psl dewan A eh?” 
“Ha tula smpi termimpi-mimpi” smbl tersengeh sengeh cam kerang busuk!

I don’t want to turn on my bridezilla mood yet.  I still continue searching even though dh penat dh cr2 dewan ni. Hr tu dpt info lg psl 1 hall from my SIL. Kak Fareeza kate dia akn try ckp ngan Kak Ita utk mintak staff price for that hall. Huhu saya sgt malu skali walaupun Ayu pun rapat ngan Kak Ita. In fact, dulang time tunang dulu Ayu pnjm dr Kak Ita. Thank you Kak Ita. Staff price mmg sgt murah compared to normal price.

So bila dh dpt tau psl that dewan ok, Ayu tgk plak gmbr dewan tu. Ok la. Not bad. I even emailed one of ex B2B yg pnah ada event kt sana to ask her about the hall bla bla bla. Tp, tp, tp, the day that Kak Ita nk booked our date tu suddenly org dewan tu ckp

“Next year kte nk renovate dewan ni.”

*sigh*sigh*sigh*

Ok Ayu tau x baik mengeluh. So straight away I sms 5rz

‘Kak Ita kate dewan tu nk renovate thn depan. X sempat nk wat wedding kt situ. Klu nk kte wat bln sekian2 la’
‘X mo la. Hmmm napelah byk sgt halangan kte psl dewan ni’
‘Tula. Syg pun x tau nk cr dewan mane lg ni’

Selang beberapa minit after that, 5rz sms me telling me to call back Dewan B [entry about this hall] and asked for the available date. I told him that I don’t wanna do my reception there coz it’s pricey plus it’s over our budget. 5rz kate x pelah sbb dh x de dewan lg. Better grab now. Ok fine. We did manage to save our date kt Dewan B and as mentioned earlier, klu wat kt Dewan B ni, our wedding date will be forward to one day earlier which is fine with us J

Kebetulan time Raya hr tu ayah ada ckp, booked je dulu date kt Dewan B coz ayah ada kwn keja kt sana and mayb boleh minta jasa baik utk outsource catering. So lps Raya, I remind ayah about Dewan B. All settle and our date mmg dh booked. Now it just the matter of boleh outsource catering or not. Klu nk outsouce catering kena wat surat and kena dpt approval dr Timbalan Lembaga Pengarah. Wedding Preparations (Hall) Part 3

This was supposed to be a happy entry or I would say a happy story but then when you read it through it would be a sad story. Well at least for me lah. Alkisahnya, Selasa malam hr tu Ayu dh sent surat kebenaran nk sewa Dewan A. Previous story [here] Then the next day I called and talk to respective person. He said that the approval for the venue will only be done 3 month before the event. Ok fine with me. Then I double confirm with him that the rental of the hall including the banquet chairs and tables or not. Tetiba dia ckp hall rental without chairs and tables. Whoaaaa! Hr tu ckp lain ni ckp lain plak. The rental of the hall actually RM 2k which still in our budget tp klu RM 2k for hall saje mmg mahal la. Ke korg rasa murah? Klu RM 2k include skali kerusi meja even without covers pun, we still take it. Covers semua tu boleh rent from catering je.

Nmpk sgt sign dibuat buat. Kerja Ayula tu :p

About this hall thingy ni mmg Ayu yg slalu liaise ngan en …… but when this thing happens, 5rz will take over from here. So he will call and discuss about this matter with en ….. Adoiii mcm mane ye? Ayu dh malas nk searching for other halls. Igt dh boleh settle dh psl dewan ni. 5rz kate dia nk ckp blk dgn org tu sbb hr tu bila kteorg g jmpa and tanya sendiri psl dewan tu dia kate RM 2k include semua kecuali red carpet, projector, PA system and lain2. Skrg mcm ni plak.

Disebabkan perkara mcm ni dh jd, so we decided to take alternative hall just in case. Setakat ni x sure lg nk search hall mane. Mayb beralih kepada dewan2 DBKL. So smalam after Isyak ngan semangatnye ajk Nizz my dear friend tmn g tgk dewan2 DBKL. First aiming was Kompleks Sukan Datuk Keramat. I like the colours of the hall. Then bila msk nmpk kecik la plak. Dgn parking lg. Susah la plak. Tp dewan dia mmg ok and cantik la. It's fine for me la. Ayu target klu x dpt Dewan A tu nk ambik je Kompleks Sukan ni tp tgk kecik la plak. Dgn parking problem lg satu hal.

Ok boleh x smalam dh berangan-angan ngan Nizz yg Ayu akn melambai-lambai org ramai dr atas ala2 cam Siti kawin dulu. Ahaks!

Serius dewan ni cantik pada pandangan Ayu tp kecik and Ayu rasa ayah x berkenan kot. Lps g dewan ni ada jgk dewan2 lain yg Ayu g tp semua cam x brape berkenan. Huh semangat cr dewan mlm2 ngan hujan lebatnya. Thanks babe sudi layan kerenah I ni. (you know who you are)

Bila dh x de dewan nk g lg, kami pun blk. Sempat lg sggh McD sbb kepingin ice-cream. (Hujan lebat x mematahkan selera nk mam ice cream! Heh merepek plak!) Ok2 so bila dh smpi umah, ayah and mak dh blk dr terawih. That time around 2230 kot. So discuss ngan mak bla bla bla (ayah dh naik blk time tu). Then boleh plak mak ni wat cerita chumel eh. Mak kate la yg mak frust x dpt Dewan A tu sbb mak dh ckp ngan kwn2 mak semua insya-Allah Ayu kawin kt situ. Ya Allah mak mak. Semangat seh mak dok cite2 kt kwn2 mak. Kesian + chumel plak tgk reaksi mak. Ok so skrg ni mmg x de kate putus lg. Buntulah! Ayu betul2 berharap sgt2 nk bersanding kt Dewan A tu. Huwaaaa tolong la en ...... Well, let’s just hope for the best. Amin.

Wedding Preparations (Hall) Part 2

As mentioned earlier, we want to booked the hall by this week or next week but due to some circumstances, we still haven’t finalize to booked which hall yet. Last week on Friday we went to 2 places which are dewan A and dewan B (still afraid to reveal it here as I promise my word to 5rz) We met the respective person for dewan A and ask about the hall. Bla bla bla.

Dewan A

• We can outsource the catering which is according to my plan (Semua plan Ayu. Huahuahua gle kuasa!)
• No need to pay for deposit. Just write a letter and sent it to them. After approval, they will inform us 3 month before the event. (3 month for me is not enough. Not enough secure for both of us)
• No one has been rejected so far but ada 1 customer had to forward their wedding 1 week earlier. (Bahaya tu walaupun dh diberitahu 2 month earlier but still la mcm2 boleh berlaku. So x secure right?)
• After approval, we can start making payment.
• The price includes air condition hall, banquet chairs and tables but both without covers. But the price was in our budget. In fact it’s under our budget actually. The rest like projector, P.A system, red carpet semua kena sewa. Rental around RM 200 each.
• Lots of parking.
• We booked our date already just in case.

Conclusion for Dewan A – Affordable but in terms or security, mcm nk reject plak. Mcm je k belum finalize lg ni ha.

Dewan B

• Cannot outsource the catering but the rest like dais and all can be outsourced.
• Our date is fully booked. If we confirm to take this hall, our wedding will be forward to one day earlier. (Fine with me. There’s no significant by our wedding date. Bak kate 5rz janji kawin. Wee~~~)
• After confirmation, we need to pay RM 900 for deposit. We’ll get it back 2 month after the event by cheque.
• 3 month before the event, we need to pay 50% of the total amount and 2 week before the event, kena byr abis.
• The price includes air condition hall, banquet chairs and tables, projector, pelayan beruniform and mcm2 lg la. But the chairs saje x de sarung. Meja ada alas. Tp klu guna banquet chair ok kot. Mmg dh kira lawa la kot.
• Food testing will be done 2 weeks before. 
• Parking cam susah je.

Conclusion for Dewan B – More secure than Dewan A but my dad plak x setuju sbb catering tu. Ayah seboleh boleh nk jgk catering kwn mak tu.

Then I continued searching for other hall. Found this hall and I can’t believe it that I didn’t notice this hall before. The hall was quite ok for me tp bila discuss ngan parents, ayah kate no. It’s too far. Ni Pusat Komuniti Taman Ibu Kota. So belum pape lg dh kena reject. Tettt

While yesterday, my parents, 5rz and I went for hall hunting. First, we went to Dewan B. Ayah kate ok but it just the matter of parking. Then, went to dewan ape ntah nama dia but lawa wooo. Kt Taman Tasik Ampang Hilir kot. Scenery cantik, parking besar tp dewan tu x de air cond. Ayah nk air cond. Ayu pun nk air cond. Huhu. Mak ckp insya-Allah next year diaorg nk tmbh aircond kot kt dewan tu. Entah la. Next move on to Kem Wardieburn. Hall ok, parking lg besar dr hall. Ayah kate hmm not bad. So this hall was under consideration. Last but not least, kami ke Dewan A. Mak and ayah puas hati sgt2. Cuma cam x brape secure jela psl confirmation date tu.

Blk umah, mak and ayah diskusi sama2 then Ayu mintak kate putus. Mak and ayah ckp ok la Dewan A tu. Mmg dh ok sgt. Mak org yg paling puas hati la selain Ayu. Then Ayu ckp la kerisauan ku psl confirmation date tu. Mak ckp x pelah. Just hope for the best. Doa la byk2 supaya tarikh tu x kn diorg tukar2.

I have survey 10 halls so far but hati Ayu kuat mengatakn better ambik Dewan A. So now we in the process of making the approval letter. Hopefully ada rezeki kami nnti. Amin. Insya-Allah.

Wedding Preparations (Hall) Part 1

This is my first entry about my wedding prep. Huh tetiba rasa nervous plak. First thing first, Ayu rasa better settle kn venue of my wedding. We both decided to do our wedding dekat hall je. Plus my parents pun ok with it. Coz dulu dh dua kali asyik wat wedding kt umah je. (My brothers weddings) So mak and ayah pun rasa cam penat klu wat kt umah. Yela br2 nk smbt menantu mesti la happy. Slalunya br2 nk smbt menantu mesti grand and happening gle kn? Dh my turn jd cam biasa je. Eh tp Ayu x kisah. Mmg nk wat simple mimple je. Momantai la.

For the last 2 weeks, we google here and there to search for our wedding venue. My dream of course la nk wat kt Dewan Perdana Felda tu. Tp tau jela diri den yg x brape nk mampu ni. So kena la reject awal2. Then bila x dpt Dewan Perdana, igt nk beralih ke Dewan Merak Kayangan Felda. Slalu lalu kt tepi jln tu pakej perkahwinan RM 12k Dewan Merak Kayangan. So mcm nk try. RM 12k tu for 400 people only but that package complete with dais and catering plus the hall of course. Huhu masih bkn dlm budget kami. Klu 800 people dh 24k? Mmg la skali ngan mcm2 but……. (long pause jap) a big no no la. For those yg rasa dewan ni dlm budget korg and nk tau more info boleh g kt sini

So dua2 dewan Felda ni dh kena reject. Then we move on to dewan2 yg lain. Google dan google lg then come out with this list.

Eh dua tu je rupanya. Igt kn byk bebenor. Actually ada je lg cuma the rest tu cam x brape nk kenan di hatiku yg cerewet ini. Anyway, Duchess Place ni br je Isnin lepas call and tanya quotation since they didn’t reply my e-mail. Apparently kena ambik package catering skali. Sebolehnya Ayu nk catering asing sbb nk ambik catering kwn mak tu. Rasanya la. Masih dlm discussion lg. So risik punya risik still not in our budget. Semua bkn dlm budget. Hahaha. Utk thn ni saje dia kira satu kepala RM 48. Ngalahkn Dewan Felda plak. Itu pun tmpt tu belum launching lg dh harga mcm tu. Dh launching nnti mcm mane la gamaknye harga tu. Next dewan Prima LJT. Smalam called and diorg ckp kena sewa skali ngan catering and diorg kira satu kepala RM 33. Lebih kurang Dewan Merak Kayangan. So again a big no no!

Then suddenly Ayu terbaca mengenai Kelab Golf PDRM kt Titiwangsa. Google and called. Last Sunday gak g terjah. Tanya2, bla bla bla semua kena sewa ngan catering. Hampeh! Tgk harga sewa mmg besh! Murah. Tp bila tanya brape org boleh msk dlm dewan tu, hampa. Cuma 180 org saje. Family Ayu ngan family 5rz saje dh penuhkn dewan tu. Abis guest semua nk duk mane?

Scenery dia cantik. Atas bukit. Ada swimming pool lg.

Pentas x tggi. Rendah je but still ok for me.

Small right?

Bhgn luar hall still ada ruang but still not enough for us. But I heart the chandelier.

Now move on to this hall. Rasa cam confirm kot to book this hall but 5rz ask not to reveal first. Bkn la grand sgt pun yg nk dirahsiakn just dia kate make sure confirm kn dulu. In fact kteorg plan this week nk booked terus and Ayu dh pun deal ngan kwn Ayu yg recommend dewan ni.

Then smalam sempat lg jmpa another dewan. Haish ni semua psl gatal tgn nk google lg dan lagi! That hall mmg include skali package but harga satu kepala sgt munasabah bg kami. 5rz pun ok and bila tanya dia, dia x kisah. Either dewan A (yg atas tu) or dewan B (yg sedang diceritakan ini) Dia momantai je janji kawin. So back tu dewan B ni. Smalam jgk dh dpt e-mail ape yg patut. Diaorg reply sgt cepat. And Ayu call nk tgk dewan tu this week. So insya-Allah by this week nk g terjah dewan ni. Kebetulan plak kami akn terjah time ada wedding. So boleh la bayangkn nnti bagaimana rupa wedding kami nnti kn? Suka suka suka!
