Jakel has now came out with the promotion you guys. Mmg sgt2 cheap. First2 dulu harga RM 199 for semi france lace utk bj perempuan (2 metre lining, 2 metre lace) + bj melayu and songket (4 and the half metre lining). Now they cut the price as low as RM 159! This promotion smpi 31 November 2010.

Last time I spoke to 5rz about our nikah oufit. He said klu boleh cr kain yg lg murah, better cr lain. In other words, he says that chiffon beaded is too expensive. Previous entry [here] Nk sent tailor lg. Dia suggest ambik kain lace ke. You know, yg jauh lebih murah. Mula2 wat muka la gak. Tp bila pk2 blk, kena redha ngan ape yg kte mampu kn?

Mmg sedih bila ape yg kte inginkn x dpt. As for me, Ayu la yg paling byk memberontak. Nk itu nk ini. Tp 5rz pun paham (eh B paham x?) Ayu ni mula2 je tarik muka. Sedih la konon2 x dpt ape yg Ayu nk. Tp bila dh lama2, Ayu akn muhasabah diri. Pk blk mgkn x de rezeki kte kt chiffon beaded, mgkn ada kt tmpt lain. Plus kte kena slalu ukur bj di badan sendiri kn? So, lama2 Ayu terima je. J Mcm 5rz slalu ckp, yg penting kawin J

Bila dh selesai muhasabah diri, Ayu look for other alternative. Ok klu 5rz ckp chiffon beaded mahal and dia suruh tgk lace, lace it is. I found it lace very boring and so outdated. No offense people. But then I try to google here and there to find a way on how I can make my lace look nice. So found this and it came across my mind ‘hmm not bad’ Klu wat kain mcm ni pun ok. Nmpk cam ada volume gitu. Bj tu plak klu x nk nmpk kosong, boleh suruh tailor jahit manik but I’m not sure upah jahit manik brape plak. Korg tau? Klu tau plz share if you don’t mind. Klu x silap ada gak B2B kte yg ambik upah jahit manik but really sape eh? Mana tau boleh tau price brape?

Alahai mak den nk den pki songket plak. Tp mak x paksa pun. So skrg masih dlm perbincangan ngan 5rz. Mayb nikah ke wat songket? Tgk2. Dr chiffon ke lace ke songket. Nk tgk mana murah dulu.

First choice - Chiffon Beaded

Harga asal Ayu tgk was RM 624 dia kasi RM 600 for 4 metre lining, 4 metre chiffon, 4 and the half metre for baju melayu. Before this harga dia RM 780 eh Dayah? Akak x mampula nk boli mahal2 cam gituw. Dayah kayo x polah JHarga last time Ayu pg on October 2010 dh turun RM 550. Utk hantar tailor plak a bit pricey sbb beaded tu susah sikit nk jahit. So, total cost would be RM 1k++ for both bride and groom.

Next  choice -  Songket or lace mana2 pun x kisah. Let's talk about songket first.

Harga last Ayu tanya on October 2010 for 4 metre of songket, 4 and the half metre lining for groom + sampin was RM 400++ (Really x hengat) Please take note ya. Klu pki songket utk nikah, bj belah bride kena wat double coz songket it self kn gatal ckit. So klu tmbh 4 metre of lining for bride dpt la dlm RM 500 cam tu. Utk hntr tailor, upah murah compared tu chiffon beaded tp mcm biasa, bride punya bj mesti akn charge double sbb dh ada songket ngan lining kt dlm tu kn? Tp klu nk save, Ayu pk x payah pki lining. Korg leh pki singlet or inner then utk kain plak, pki kain dlm je. Dh save cost kt situ. And then some people akn suruh tailor tmbh manik plak kt songket utk naik kn lagi kain songketnye. So dh tmbh cost lg disitu. L All in Ayu kira, sama dengan chiffon beaded which is RM 1k++ gak. Cth Zla time nikah dia pki songket.

Next choice – Since I’m done talking about songket, let’s move on to lace shall we?

Lace skrg mmg sgt2 murah. Pg Jakel je dh dpt 2 metre lining for bride, 2 metre lace, 4 and the half metre lining for groom + sampin for RM 159! Murah kn? Hntr tailor pun x mahal. I mean still bwh RM 1k gak la. Klu rasa kain tu nk cantik kn ckit, wat cam gmbr yg Ayu tepek kt atas td tu. Then lace tu boleh jgk suruh tailor letak manik. Jahit manik tgk la. Klu korg nk jahit byk, mahal la costnye. Klu sikit and batu or manik yg korg guna tu biasa2 je, kurang la ckit cost nye. So cost for lace ni (beli + siap jahit skali) I think the most cheapest among the other kain yg Ayu sebut just now.

This one very nice. Lace beaded eh namanya? Tp I tell you. Beribu harga!

Skrg ni Ayu still nk kn chiffon tu tp Ayu nk tggu smpi price dia down tu RM 400. Impossible? Nah. One of my readers Nurul Farihah (pardon me sayang. I don't have your url) pnah dpt harga tu dulu and dia kate dia menyesal x beli dulu. I’ll wait until end of this year utk dptkn harga tu. Insya-Allah klu ada rezeki la. Bln November ni belum berkesempatan lg sggh mana2 Jakel to check on the price. Will do later. 5rz pun dh ckp

Wedding Preparations (Hall) Part 4

Continue lg psl hall thingy ni. Months ago 5rz dh called en…. To ask about Dewan A tp kn org tu cam main2 pun ada. Mula2 5rz call pg then dia kate dia sibuk and suruh 5rz call after solat Jumaat. Lps solat Jumaat, 5rz call. Dia suruh call Isnin plak. Haish! Ok la ok la. Dia sgt sibuk! This hall thingy ni wat my wed plan dh jauh lari dr landasannye. And because of that, Ayu cam x de semangat nk continue with other things! Tgk jela kt side bar blog ni. How many things that says DONE?

Ayu still boleh sabar lg walaupun kadang2 nangis gak pk psl benda ni. Klu x silap, bln Ramadhan dulu, Ayu dh 3 mlm asyik termimpi psl dewan tu la dewan ni la smpikn nk bgn sahur pun boleh lmbt. Then bila time sahur plak Ayu la yg paling byk tmbh nasi smpikan mak kate

“Hai byk mkn Yu. Stress ke? Pk psl dewan A eh?” 
“Ha tula smpi termimpi-mimpi” smbl tersengeh sengeh cam kerang busuk!

I don’t want to turn on my bridezilla mood yet.  I still continue searching even though dh penat dh cr2 dewan ni. Hr tu dpt info lg psl 1 hall from my SIL. Kak Fareeza kate dia akn try ckp ngan Kak Ita utk mintak staff price for that hall. Huhu saya sgt malu skali walaupun Ayu pun rapat ngan Kak Ita. In fact, dulang time tunang dulu Ayu pnjm dr Kak Ita. Thank you Kak Ita. Staff price mmg sgt murah compared to normal price.

So bila dh dpt tau psl that dewan ok, Ayu tgk plak gmbr dewan tu. Ok la. Not bad. I even emailed one of ex B2B yg pnah ada event kt sana to ask her about the hall bla bla bla. Tp, tp, tp, the day that Kak Ita nk booked our date tu suddenly org dewan tu ckp

“Next year kte nk renovate dewan ni.”

*sigh*sigh*sigh*

Ok Ayu tau x baik mengeluh. So straight away I sms 5rz

‘Kak Ita kate dewan tu nk renovate thn depan. X sempat nk wat wedding kt situ. Klu nk kte wat bln sekian2 la’
‘X mo la. Hmmm napelah byk sgt halangan kte psl dewan ni’
‘Tula. Syg pun x tau nk cr dewan mane lg ni’

Selang beberapa minit after that, 5rz sms me telling me to call back Dewan B [entry about this hall] and asked for the available date. I told him that I don’t wanna do my reception there coz it’s pricey plus it’s over our budget. 5rz kate x pelah sbb dh x de dewan lg. Better grab now. Ok fine. We did manage to save our date kt Dewan B and as mentioned earlier, klu wat kt Dewan B ni, our wedding date will be forward to one day earlier which is fine with us J

Kebetulan time Raya hr tu ayah ada ckp, booked je dulu date kt Dewan B coz ayah ada kwn keja kt sana and mayb boleh minta jasa baik utk outsource catering. So lps Raya, I remind ayah about Dewan B. All settle and our date mmg dh booked. Now it just the matter of boleh outsource catering or not. Klu nk outsouce catering kena wat surat and kena dpt approval dr Timbalan Lembaga Pengarah. Surat dh lama hntr (after Raya if I’m not mistaken) but up till now, jawapan still pending. And because of that, Ayu semacam x de mood nk continue ngan ape2 plan.

Ya Allah this whole hall thingy ni mmg x pnah settle2 lg. Even dh klua dr track asal Ayu dh pon. L

First milestone. Yg dark pink tu mmg dh lari dr landasan.

Second milestone after dh di renovate blk. By looking at the draft, hopefully by November, we can settle about wedding venue. Oh please! Brape lama dh tggu ni

Amazing Race Season 4 | Episode 5

Have you been watching Amazing Race Asia last night? Suka sgt! Ada bungee jumpee. That one masa ada road block task. They have to choose either 1 of 2 task. Sama ada nk bungee jump or main buai. Tp bkn buai kt atas tanah tu. Buai kt udara tu. Both task actually mmg sgt scary as for me la. Oh klu la Ayu msk. Mau nangis! Ayu gayat. Klu dua2 task x mau buat, kena 4 hours penalty. 

Tp bila dh tgk dua2 task smalam, I think I prefer to swing than jump even though both will be done at the same height. Plus, it could save time coz when we swing, we can swing together with our partner. So kira skali arung je. Because you are swing together with your partner, in case you scared, you can hug your partner. More secured I guess? Compared to bungee jump, you have to wait for your partner, then you can do yours. Twice the work right?

Personally, both task pun scary lah. Lama dh Ayu x update about this race kn? So actually skrg team dh tggl 6 and sadly last night, one of Malaysian team dh klua. We now can rely on Ethan and Khairie! Go go go!

5th. Last Thursday they were first. Never mind. Go!go!go! They'll make it to top 3 too! Mesti support Malaysia kn? (Malaysia)

6th. This girls not bad tau! Stamina diaorg mmg bagus sgt2. Tgk la body diaorg. Very fit. (India)

Eliminated last night. They switch the task from bungee jump to swing coz Hilda was so terrified to jump  (Malaysia)
